Pantelleria is much more than an island of volcanic origin in the Mediterranean Sea, it is a garden of herbs, flowers and fragrant berries. It has a history made of roots and rocks, untamed nature and winds that blow impetuously in every season: it is the wild beauty of this territory that inspires D'STILLA, the first projecti LABO Officine Pantesche, a startup born from the meeting between Incuso and La Nicchia, two companies that have been involved for years in the promotion of Pantelleria and its raw materials. 

The quality of this new line of spirits lies in the purity of the ingredients: the botanicals that make up the 4 recipes are the result of the work of Antonio D'Ancona, a farmer specialized in the cultivation of aromatic herbs and spices; Ines Iommatzsch, foraging expert, collects wild herbs which she translates into mother tinctures and essences; the transformation, carried out with minimal processing, is entrusted to Giovanni Ceccarelli, trainer and popularizer in the world of mixology, who combines the aromas and flavors of Pantelleria creating spirits with a straight taste, without compromises. Guiding these three professionals is the vision of the two founders, Pasquale Bonsignore and Gabriele Lasagni, who with LABO Officine Pantesche propose a permanent experimental laboratory, free from conventions and clichés, which knows how to explore Pantelleria in search of new opportunities for the territory, at beyond the overtourism circuits already known internationally.

The name D'stilla is not only an abbreviation of the word "distill" but is also a reference to the uniqueness of the stars of Pantelleria, where the peculiar geographical position of isolation amplifies the intensity of the light. This condition is the same that contributes to a significant temperature range between day and night thanks to which the botanicals of Pantelleria are a concentrate of perfumes and develop distinctive organoleptic characteristics.
